only problem there are NO signage on lot that states Visitor Parking. The resident rules states that visitors should park in a white rectangle spot, only problem there are none.$183.00 I had to pay for towing. What should i do.

Answer
Since I do not know where this happened I can not try to point you to specific rules, regulations and laws, since you did not tell me where it happened. So I will list general answers and thoughts here.

Well if you were a visitor and you attempted to park in a visitor space and their were no spaces available and you parked in a "TENANT" space then where would the person who lives there park ???

Now you talk about signs being posted, that generally is required by either City, County or State rules, regulations or laws. It also can just be a common courtesy issue to post signs.
But in many areas there are not required to post signs that say specific things.
Some areas require signs at the entrances only. Others require more signs to be posted.

But I have to ask you this question... If you were in charge of the parking lot, how many signs would you post, remember they cost money to make and keep posting when torn down by irate customers.
Would you have a sign in each space saying what that space was to be used for. And do not forget now in the world of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, you would have to have signs in Spanish along with any other language to "CONVEY THE MESSAGE" to motorists who are supposed to be able to "READ, WRITE, and SPEAK ENGLISH" in order to get a drivers license which is a privilege not a right to have.

This kind of question is always asked because someone feels that they were not properly warned of the rules - regulations, even though common sense should prevail when considering parking in lots.
Is it fair to let anyone park anywhere with no punishment for breaking the rules. Is not knowing the rules an excuse, or are the property owners rights supposed to be trashed because people just do not care anymore about others when driving.

Now sorry for the rant, but in some places the $183.00 fee you paid is way to cheap for what was done. I have seen tow bills from places where it was $500 or more to get you car back after only 1 hour of being towed.
