Towing Issues: Glove box, tow truck company, storage yard

Can the tow truck company legally search your glove box if it's locked?

Ah, and the rest of the story is ???

Why was the vehicle towed?
Was it a police tow and the officer searched the vehicle?

Was it towed and left in the storage yard for a period of time like 2 weeks or so ???


There are all sorts of issues and stuff that I can only guess at and most likely be wrong in answering it...

But I do have to say that given the fact that tow companies also have to notify the owner of the vehicle it was towed, in some cases they do check the glove box for the registration and things like that.

So what is the rest of the story ???

Is the bag of diamonds missing ? or the $400,000 dollars you keep as spare change missing ?
