Towing Issues: towing a volvo, tire retread, tow dolly

Question
can i tow a 2004 volvo s60 96801 behind a motorhome thank you buck

Answer
Not without major modifications. If it's fwd, my suggestion is a tow dolly (car trailer is best) or external lube pump or axle shaft disconnects. The cost of a tow dolly/trailer is cheaper than the parts and labor required to tow bar the vehicle on all fours. Here is a link remcotowing.com for information about their products. If you have a AWD then I suggest a car trailer as the dolly wouldn't work without the modifications. If you have any warranty left on the vehicle, lube pumps and disconnects could void the warranty. In my opinion, go with a car trailer. The trailer will take about the same time loading and unloading as it would with connecting and disconnecting lube pumps, axle shaft disconnects and tow bars. Also if you hit something major (tire retread) in the road disabling the motorhome it doesn't take out the vehicle behind it, just the trailer.
