Towing Issues: removing car in ditch in snow bank, tow company, frame control

Question
My car was burried in snow in ditch. When the car got pulled out the lower A frame or control arm bent? Not much on new cars to hook on to.Should my insurance pay for it,because I went in the ditch.Or should the towing company pay for it??

Answer
well placing blame on the tow company on my part is hard to do, as I was not there and do not know what they did or hooked to... Sorry but that is the fact.

Since the vehicle was in the ditch, was there any body damage, or were there rocks, curbs, culverts. All of them can cause damage to the A Frame - control arm.

But check and see what the repair shop says about the repairs and what caused the damage. If the tow company did manage to hook the control arm, there generally is a telltale mark that is easy to see..
But like I said I am not there and can not inspect the vehicle.

If the tow company did damage it, then they should take care of the damage and repairs... Talk to them and see what they say if you think they did the damage.
