Towing Issues: How to tow a trailer, jeep liberty, manual transmission

I just bought a Jeep Liberty 4X4, 6 speed manual transmission and would like to tow a small trailer. I have never done this before. What speeds can I travel at, and what gears should I use?

Towing a small trailer is kind of like having kids in the car. You take it easy and pay attention to everything on the road. You have to give ample time to stop, because a small trailer is not your friend in a skid.

Practice backing up, turning and stopping. You'll do fine.
