Towing Issues: towing from a condominium, dade county florida, miami dade county florida

Question
A visitor parked in a space indicated for 20 minute resident parking.  15 minutes after parking there, the "security" person stickered the car with a final warning that the car could be towed without further notice.  Ten minutes later the tow truck was called and responded within 10 minutes.  The only sign at this space said 20 minute resident parking - No signs were posted indicating that cars would be towed.  Was the towing legal?
If not, can I hold the condominium responsible for reimbursing the towing charges?  This occurred in Miami-Dade County, Florida.  Your prompt reply would be appreciated.

Answer
Well from what I can make of this question, the vehicle was in the space for 35 minutes, and it was marked for 20 minute parking only...

If it was not towed, how long you think it would of been there?

Legal, or not, it sounds like the vehicle in question did violate the laws and as such was towed in penalty and has to pay to redeem the vehicle.
Just like a speeding ticket, you do the crime you pay the penalty..

Signs are not required to be "SPECIFIC" for each space, as that would mean that you would have to have about 49330 million signs for a good sized parking lot.. (think about each space and then add in the argument that the person is Russian, German, Spanish, South African or what ever speaking and feels that they should have signs in each language so they understand the rules..

Remember that driving is a privilege and you are required to be able to read and speak English to the degree to understand signs and commands.

Hold the condominium management responsible for the fees, well you can try that but I bet you get a laugh and a big NO.

I bet that at the entrances to the condo complex there are tow away signs posted stating that violators will be towed. That is really what sign laws require in many areas, and of course that is also a standard cover all kind of answer... You did have to enter the complex from a driveway.. You do not drive over the grass and around the trees to get in the complex...

Sorry but it looks like a lives lesson here.
