Thank you

Answer
I am guessing that a jet ski with a trailer would be less than 1500 pounds?

You say 4.6, but I don't see that as an option, did you mean the 4.3 V6?  No matter, the 4.3 4X4 has a maxium towing capacity of 5000 pounds.  That is probably with a towing package, I am guessing a capacity of at least 3000+ without it.

Put on a decent frame hitch, reciever style and a proper ball and mount.  Make sure the trailer sits level, and the load is set so that 10% of the total trailer/boat/anything else in or on the boat/trailer weight is on the hitch, that should be around 150 pounds for a 1500 pound setup.

I bet the owners manual does have towing information, I haven't seen a truck owners manual yet that doesn't have something to say about it, if not, go to your local Chevy dealer and ask for towing information from their computer information on older models.
