Towing Issues: Towing a 00 grand cherokee behind a uhaul, jeep grand cherokee, tow dollies

Question
I am moving from florida to indiana and need to tow my car behind a uhaul truck, I havebeen told different things by different people...  one person told me it could NOT be towed on 2 wheels at all, that in order to tow my car it would have to go on a platform with all 4 wheels off the ground, another told me that towing the car on a dolly is possible, but I first had to have the driveshaft taken off... another person told me that my car should be fine being towed on 2 wheels without doing anything to the car.  I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee limited with 4wd.  Can you tell me what my options are here please? and if I did tow the car on 2 wheels on a dolly can I do any damage to the car. I am scheduled to leave  in a week so I would so much appreciate a timely response.  Thank you so much for your help.

Answer
I hate feeling rushed to provide answers, but on the commercial side of towing (the one we charge $$$ for), the Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of those pain in the tail vehicles.

WE as an industry, treat all Jeep Cherokee's the same.. IT COMES ALL THE WAY OFF THE GROUND..

A car trailer where it has all 4 wheels on the trailer is the best method to move it with..  Tow dollies can be used, but that would entail removing the driveline at the axle housing (this is only 4 bolts to do)..

But I would suggest - recommend the car trailer as it is the safest method to use...
