Towing Issues: Towing a ohv Jeep, tow company, ohv

Don I'm stationed in California and I have a Jeep that i am going to register as an OHV. My question to you is; Can I legally tow this jeep by the bumper tow bar with, it not being street registered?

I am not sure of the rules, I believe if it is wheels down, it has to have a plate unless you are an authorized tow company.  If you have it on a trailer, then it doesn't have to be legal.

Check with your DMV or state police to be sure though.
