Towing Issues: Apartment towing in arizona, pheonix arizona, apartment management

Hi, i live in pheonix Arizona and my car was recently towed. That have signs that say tenant parking only. Well i came over with my cousin to my uncles house and parked in my uncles parking spot around 4:30. i was there maybe a total of 2 hours and when i came back it was gone.

Someone had told me only the apartment management could tow my car and not a tenant. If this is true how can i get my car back from the towing company. Or how can i get the car back with a smaller fee.

Well the person who authorized the tow is the one that you should be looking for..  However there are areas, and yes Phoenix is one where tow companies have contracts to patrol parking lots and look for violators.. It might of been that you were towed because you did not have a permit or the tow company driver (yeah we have good memories of what vehicle belongs where when doing patrol towing) noticed that your vehicle was not supposed to be there..

Now, as to the fees, you can always try to convince them that you thought you were parked legal, and that it was a mistake, but I bet it will not work to good....

It's up to the towing company if they want to change the prices for services provided..
