Towing Issues: 4runner or jeep grand cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee

Question
I have a 900 lb mustang and I'd like to tow him around in a fairly light double
horse trailer.  Right now I'm considering getting a used 4runner or a jeep grand
cherokee to do this.  What are the pros and cons?  Would you recommend any
other vehicle that is dual purpose in terms of towing and around town decent
mpg driving.  Thanks.

I can't see any problem with the vehicles you have selected to do the job.  Just try to keep everything light and ask some of the owners of your choice vehicles what they like/dislike about the vehicle.
