Question: Hello my 2003 toyota corolla was towed this morning in san diego. I parked next to my wifes car in our parking spot in the apartment complex we live in. It clearly states it is illegal to park like this in our complex. My question is this. They have a contract with my complex to drive around the complex and tow illegally parked cars. They claimed that they called the manager and got her signature but would not show it to me. I talker to the manager and she said they called her early in the morning but even though she said she was present during the tow, she could not tell me what my violation was. I really like this complex and I don't want to cause any waves. So does this sound legal? And if it is not what should I do. Also I paid with a credit card and i was considering calling them and cancelling the charges."
