Question -
I own a F-150 pickup and generally follow rules and signs about where and where not to park. Sometimes though, like at events or even on weekends near crowded places, you have to get creative to find a spot. I always wonder what little tricks I can do to keep from being towed.. or at least make it as hard as possible on the tow truck operator so maybe they will pass my vehicle over. I try to park near other cars, park in between other cars and turn my wheel all the way, and put my parking brake on. WIll any of these help and do you have any tips that will? Thanks, Jason.

Answer -
Jason,

Take a bus. If you HAVE to park someplace 'creative', you should be towed.

Answer
Yes, I know what you meant. You are parking someplace you know you shouldn't be. If not, you wouldn't be worried about being towed. I am not a tow truck driver, nor do I have any affiliation with tow trucks of any kind. Had you read my profile before posing your question you would know that. I'm not sure why you say my website doesn't grow. It has grown in unique page views as well as hits by more than 33% every month for the past nine months. I also have opened a second site that is only a webstore.

In short, I'm not getting paid by anyone on this site, I was screened to be sure I was knowledgable and could write in a clear manner. You have come on here and posed a question completely outside my expertise and are now leaving negative feedback because you didn't like me being blunt with you.

Even if I was a tow truck driver, why would I want to tell you and everyone else on the internet how to make my job harder?

Outside this site my time bills at $60/hr minimum. I will no longer waste my time dealing with people who can't read a four line description.

--I am knowledgeable in all aspects of recreational and light to medium commercial towing, including trailers up to 22,000lbs.
Please note: I can not answer questions about enforcement towing and tow trucks.
I also have knowledge in `flat-four` or dinghy towing a car behind a motorhome, including the use of tow-bars, lube pumps, braking systems, tow dollies and driveshaft disconnects. This includes both the appropriate use and the proper installation of the above products. --
