Toyota Repair: Toyota Avalon Electrical issue.

Question
I have a 2005 Toyota Avalon.  Recently I had it serviced at Pep Boys for an Oil change and they put a new battery terminal on the battery, no big deal. But recently, I've had an interesting electrical problem, which I think is a short of some kind. I start the car, sometimes the problem happens immediately, sometimes not; but my temp gauge doesn't work, emergency park break stay illuminated along with the abs light, my A/C compressor doesn't work, my fuel readout on the screen doesn't work nor does the gear select illumination on the dash.  Sometimes if I restart it, everything will be fine, I'll drive for just a little, and everything goes berserk, car runs as normal but everything else is a mess.

Answer
Hello, check all fuses both under the hood and on the inside at the left lower dash, check for loose fuses or corrosion on the contacts, under the hood check the relays in the fuse box as well, make sure they fir tight and have no corrosion on the terminals or sockets, it may also be a good diea to have the charging system tested, most autoparts stores do this for free.
