Toyota Repair: 1999 Corolla Air Bag light, connector pins, assembly computer

Question
The codes it threw were B0116, B0115 and B0111.  The suggested fix is to replace the center air bag assembly (computer) and harness.  Does this make sense?  I am a diehard DIY - are these items that I will be able to replace myself?

Answer
The first thing I would do is to check all the airbag harness connectors that are accessible, especially the ones under the seats, with the battery disconnected check these connectors by disconnecting them and check the connector pins for corrosion or looseness, bend the pins a little to make bettewr contact and reconnect them clear the airbag codes and see if the ight stays of, also check the connectors at the center airbag sensor and the front impact sensors.
