Toyota Repair: Toyota 4Runner Start Problems, toyota 4runner, jumper wire

Question
I have a Toyota 4Runner which turns over but will not start. I just recently purchased this vehicle and have had no problems with it starting until today. I had been starting it every day since I bought it except yesterday. Today I tried to start it and it did not fire. I had already bought new spark plugs to install and did so. Once installed the 4Runner started right up with no problems. I let it run for awhile then shut it off. Later on I tried again to start it and it did the same same all over again, turn over, but not fire. It is make not clicking or other sounds. The battery seems fine. I have checked the fuses. The 4Runner is a 3.0 V6 with a 5 speed manual transmission. The only other issue I have discovered besides this problem is the wipers not working and the key seems loose in the ignition.

Answer
First let's ssee if there are any diagnostic codes in the computer, locate the diagnostic check connector under the hood it's mounted to the large fuse box, open the cver and put a jumper wire between terminals TE1 and E1 with the key on, the check engine light will start flashing, if there is a code the light will flash a two digit number, for example a code 25 would be two blinks followed by five and so on, let me know the result/
