Toyota Repair: tempature needle goes to high position when car runs at 60 miles, radiator fan, postition

tempature needle goes toward over heating postition when car runs at 60 miles per hour. does radiator fan suppose to stay on at all times?

No the radiator fan should come on when the engine reaches operating temperatures especially at idle and go off after it cools down,at higher speeds the fan is less used because of the airflow through the radiator, the radiator may need attention it may be partially restricted
