Toyota Repair: Toyota Front Carpets Soaked, 2008 toyota highlander, toyota highlander

Question
I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander.   Got in today and the front carpets are soaked.  If there is a drain hole, could I clean it out myself?   If so, where is it located and how should I do the cleanout?     If not, where could the water be coming from? Thank you.

Answer
If there is water inside on the floor and it has not rained recently then the water is most likely coming from the a/c evaporator drain, pull back the carpeting on the right side and you should see a rubber drain hose coming from the evaporator housing and exiting through the floorboard, make sure it is connected and the hose is clear, sometimes debris gets trapped in side the housing, use a piece of coathanger and poke into the opening on the evapotator housing to loosen any debris.
