Toyota Repair: 98 4Runner 130k 5 speed, clutch fluid, far thanks

Question
Will not shift into any gear. Came on very quickly. Leaking water from passenger side of engine compartment.
It has been a gem so far.

Possibly a hydraulic leak, check the clutch fluid, is it low? If so check for a leak at the slave cylinder on the bellhousing or the rear of the master cylinder, what color is the fluid leaking? Could it be coolant or is it clear and odorless like water?
