Toyota Repair: back window wont go back up, phillips screws, toyota avensis

how do i remove the back panel of my Toyota avensis 2001 it is manual at the back not electric.my son tried to open window an it only came down about 3 inches an now it wont go back up the handle is just going all round:( please help:)

The Avensis is not sold in the US but is similar to our Camry model, the problem may just the handle, check to make sure the handle is on the splined shaft,if the handle is not the problem then the window regulator will probably need to be replaced. The door panel is mostly held on with plastic clips, there may be a couple of phillips screws in the armrest, to remove the clip that holds the handle on  isert a thin towel between the handle base and the door panel to catch the clip and pull it out, to reinstall the handle just put the wire clip back in the groove and push it on.
