Toyota Repair: 1997 Tacoma 2.7 coolant in #2 cylinder, head gasket, headgasket

Question
Been having rough idle at start up for a while.Saw vapor at the tail pipe for the first time last night ( 90F degrees ambient ).
Pulled plugs for a look this AM.Can see coolant in #2 on top of piston.Truck runs fine after start-up misfire, doesn't overheat and uses just a touch of coolant.
Head gasket? Cracked or corroded head? What's the most common fault?
Thanks,Ron

Answer
The headgasket would be the most common, the head may be cracked but in either case it has to be removed and sent to a machine shop that can resurface the head and check it for cracks and if the head is usable it should have the valves reconditioned at the same time.
