Toyota Repair: 2002 Toyota Sienna - Brake, Check Engine, Speedometer, input sensors, engine temp

Question
While driving tonight the transmission seemed to be slipping where the RPMs would jump up when starting up or accelerating.  Then a while later the "brake" light came on followed by the "Check Engine" light.  The Speedometer also quite working during this time.  Brake, transmission, oil levels were within the acceptable levels.  Engine temp was normal range.

Answer
The first thing would be to have a diagnostic scantool connected to see what trouble codes are stored in the computer, it could be just one of the input sensors from the transmission has failed. You can post a follow up and let me know what the codes are.
