Toyota Repair: Toyota No Start, fuel pressure gauge, toyota corolla

Question
I have a 95 Toyota Corolla with the 1.8L with the automatic.

It will not start periodically. One day it will start without effort and few hours later it will crank and crank but no start. It doesn't matter the temperature outside or whether its a cold or hot start. It will just crank until the battery dies.

When I take it to the dealer of a shop it starts everytime and I look like an idiot.

I have replaced the alternator, battery, plugs, wires, cap, button, and fuel pump with no results.

Any suggestions? I don't want my wife driving it cause I don't want her stranded.

Answer
It could be a fuel pump problem, try to leave it at the dealer overnight and have them try it the next morning with a fuel pressure gauge connected to see if fuel pressure is lost when the problem happens. This model also has an external fuel filter located under the hood on the firewall near the air filter, this could be clogged restricting fuel flow.
