Toyota Repair: no power to ac compressor, magnetic clutch, toyota camry

I've got a 1997 Toyota Camry. There's no power going to the ac compressor.If you could give some ideas I can troubleshoot I sure would appreciate it.

Locate the a/c magnetic clutch relay and try replacing it, it should be under the hood in the fuse box, there's a diagram inside the cover that shows the location. Have you tried applying 12 volts directly to the positive side on the connector to the compressor to see if the clutch clicks and engages?
