Toyota Repair: 2000 toyota Corolla, o rielly, toyota corolla

I have a 200 Toyota corolla and about 6 months ago it started idling really rough and having trouble accelerating... also i had O'Rielly's check the codes it was coming up with #4 cylindar was misfiring was told it might be the coil pack but i dont know alot about cars and i couldn't see any real damage to them, aswell and the price for 1 new one being 170 bucks seems steep for such a small repair could this really be the problem or could it be something alot simplier?

Yes the coil could be the problem , it also could be a bad spark plug or fuel injector or even possibly low cylinder compression. You have two choices at this time: start replacing parts starting with the least expensive(spark plugs) then the coil pack and if necessary the number 4 fuel injector and as a last resort have the compression tested, OR, you can take it in and have it diagnosed to see what needs to be done.
