Toyota Repair: 94 manual trans, flex hoses, shift gears

Hi Ted. my problem is with my 94 pickup. 3.0, 5 speed, 4 wheel drive, 188k. Clutch will not release and cannot shift gears at all. Thinking throwout bearing, but hoping slave cyl.. Is there anyway to check slave cylinder or do think i need to drop the trans? No visable leaks on master or slave. Thanks.

Be sure to check the master cylinder for leakage on the inside where it's mounted to the firewall, if no leaks can be found at either hydraulic cylinders then check the flex hose at the right side of the firewall, it connects to a steel line that connects to the slave cylinder, the flex hoses have a tendency to leak.
