QUESTION: Hi there, i have a 1994 Toyota Ceres, similar to the Marino.
The driver door electric window seems to be out of position and won't fully close, I'm trying to take the door panel off to have a look but can't get the door handle and plastic casing off in order to remove to panel. There are no screws holding either in place.
I've looked at this and can't see any easy way to remove it Your advice would be much appreciated.

Gavin

ANSWER: There is a cover just below the handle, pop the plastic cover off there is a phillips screw under it.

QUESTION: Thanks for your quick reply, however there is no cover there at all.  What you see is what you get in the photo.  It seems as though there should be a simple cover there to be popped off as there is no other way to get at the inside of the door frame as the handle is in the way.

Try doing this: insert a small flat screwdriver towards the rear of the handle between the handle and the plastic housing first at the top and then the bottom, pry outward on the plastic housing, there are plastic clips which will release the plastic housing, the handle itself may have a screw which attaches it or it can just be pushed off the door panel, there will be control rods or cables on the inside.
