Toyota Repair: Yaris, maintenance question, tim george

Hi!  This isn't, exactly, a maintenance question.  I've owned a Toy p/up for almost 20 yrs.  I'm considering the '09 Yaris Hatch.  Just wondering if you had any general advice or thoughts.  I know it's a Toyota and that means a lot, but that isn't what I'm asking.

I always recommend to people; before you buy a new vehicle
DRIVE one ! Not for 5 miles but for many miles. Look at some
used ones that you can drive from private parties. Find a Toyota
dealer with a used one, tell them your interested in buying a new
one and want to test drive some miles. If they understand a manager
will let you take a demo or a used one for a couple of hours.
The other option is go to a car rental agency and rent one for the weekend, it might cost you $100 - $150 but its worth it.
