Toyota Repair: 1993 toyota speedometer doesnt work, speedometer repair, odometer reading

1993 toyota 4x4 w/3.0L and auto tranny. Speedometer and odometer quit working. Replaced speed sensor on rear of tranny. What now?

Unless there is a wiring problem between the sensor and the speedometer I would say that the speedometer is probably the cause, keep in mind that any replacement speedo has to be set to the same odometer reading as the old one, if you buy one at the dealer they can have this done before selling it to you, if a used one is used contact a speedometer repair shop  or contact the toyota dealer for a referral.
