Toyota Repair: 2001 Camry rough transmission bump in/out OD, material particles, transmission problem

Question
QUESTION: 2001 Camry 160,000 miles. Trans serviced 155,000.  When hot, trans make rough bump when shifting in/out of overdrive (i.e. up hills, accelerating, etc.)  3rd solenoid?

ANSWER: A solenoid malfunction would turn the check engine light on.Did this start after the transmission was serviced, if so, make sure the correct fluid was put in, it's either DexronII/III or toyota type IV fluid, remove the dipstick and check it will have the fluid type imprinted on it. At the same time check the fluid level with engine warmed up while at idle.

QUESTION: I believe that it was clunking on disengage before servicing.  I used Penzoil ATF for vehicles using Dextron III.  I measured qty removed and added fresh in the same qty.  Also changed the filter.  Checked new fluid with level good.  Should I change fluid again?  Any other suggestions.  Thanks for your time.

Answer
The Pennzoil is ok to use. I'm beginning to think that a serious transmission problem is starting to develop, I would suggest removing the transmission oil pan to inspect for any metal or clutch material particles in the bottom of the oil pan to confirm this.
