Toyota Repair: 1990 Geo prism LS (corolla) Window runs, 1990 geo prism, window gaskets

Question
My driver's door window run has been shrinking and blowing wind, and it finally broke at the corner. Age, probably, as all the window gaskets and runs seems to be tight and brittle.
How do I replace this? I have the door panel off.

also, the passenger side window switch does not work, but my driver side switch will lift and raise it. The switch gradually went out, not suddenly. is that switch difficult to replace?

And my two rear windows squeal when going up, and i think take in water, because in the damp weather they sometimes stop working altogether until it dries out, and i have to manually push up the windows while having someone operate the switch. They go very slowly like they are stuck, the best of times. My guess is that the window runs are bad, and  I should fix this, so as not to strain the motors more... i have tried WD40, graphite, etc. Nothing in the lube department works, and the runs don't visibly looked caked or dirty, but that is just the part that shows. Do you think my guess is right?
thanks so much,
Susan W

Answer
Yes, try replacing all the window runs, the door panels don't need to be removed, after pulling the old ones out, lube the new ones with a silicone spray, with the glass about three inches up feed the rubber into the channel at the back side first and keep pushing it down until the top corner lines up, it may be necessary to roll the window up a little and then down while pushing the run down, then press it into the top part and repeat this for the front glass channel, if this does not work it may be easier to just remove the door panels. The passenger side switch just pops out of the door panel, it has plastic clips.
