Toyota Repair: 95 tacoma 4x4, toyota tacoma 4x4, airflow meter

Question
I have a toyota tacoma 4x4 4cylinder. It is skipping and sputtering . It cut off on me the other day going down the road, it is hard to push that sucker out of the road in filp flops,. I changed the plugs ,destrib.cap, rotary button, and ignition coil. It still is sputtering, and trying to cut off? Help me please, what could be wrong?

Answer
Check the fuel pressure, check for a large air intake leak, make sure the intake hoses from the air filter to the throttle body are good and not leaking, make sure the airflow meter connector is on, if nothing else can be found the airflow meter may be the problem, there are contacts in the airflow meter that turn the fuel pump on and off.
