Toyota Repair: Camry 1997 power locks, courtesy light , auto head lights and seatbelt light does not work, seatbelt light, fuse box

Question
Hi, Ted.  I have a Camry 1997 with the following problems:  The power locks, auto head lights, courtesy light or dome light and seatbelt warning light does not work?  Do I have a bad integration relay or some thing else?  How do I test what part is bad?

It started a month ago with the auto head lights intermittently won't turn off when I have the dome light switch from "OFF" to "DOOR".  I turn the dome light to "OFF" so the head lights will turn off right away when I turn off the ignition so the head lights won't drain the battery.

Now the following problems:
(1)Power locks won't work from all doors just making clicking and buzzing sound coming from behind the fuse box when lock and unlock button is pushed from the door or from the remote.  Key lock and unlock and manual lock and unlock works.

(2)The courtesy light won't work when switch is at "DOOR" just making clicking sound coming from behind the fuse box when the door is open.  Dome light work or turn on when the switch is slide to "ON".

(3)The seatbelt light is blinking bright red at same rhythm as the clicking sound coming from behind the fuse box when the dome light switch is at "DOOR" when door is open.  When door is closed and dome light switch is at "OFF" seat belt light is dimly lit until light at ignition key it turns off.  No tone when seat belt light is blinking just clicking noise.

(4)Head lights turn off right away when the ignition is turn off whether the dome light switch is at "OFF" or "DOOR".

I did some search on the net and check a few items:  All fusses check out good.  The three relays behind the fuse box just above the relay integration also check out good.  My research point to bad relay integration but I would like a second opinion before I spend $250-$300 on relay integration unit.  Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Nick

Answer
With all of that going on I would have to agree that the integration relay, which is part of the main relay block, is probably the problem since it does control all of the items you mentioned, unless there is some wiring problem. Before replacing the relay remove both of the left and right kick panels and check the white/black ground connections, make sure the 10mm ground bolts are tight, look at all the wiring for any burned wires.
