Toyota Repair: 2004 Corolla TRK VSC OFF light, scantool, plug connectors

Question
I just bought a 2004 Corolla with the 1.8 engine. Before we took delivery of the car the dealership washed the engine. Now the check engine light and the TRK VSC OFF ligts come on. We took it to Toyota and they hooked it up to the scantool they have. They said there is nothing wrong with the engine. They say that perhaps water got into the system when the dealership washed it and that is causing the system to act up. They suggested running the car for a couple days to allow everything to dry out. Ever heard of this? Will these lights go out by themselves or do they have to be turned off at Toyota?

Answer
The water from cleaning the engine is probably the cause, the check engine light will turn on if there is a misfire, the TRK/VSC lights will turn on by default any time the check engine light comes on. The dealer should remove the spark plug connectors and get the water out and turn the  warning lights off.
