Answer
I would recommend going to another toyota dealer if possible, if you have something in writing such as a repair order that states that they said there was a defect there is a good chance that it may still be covered under the warranty which is 3yrs/36,000 miles from the date of the sale. Even though slightly out of the mileage limit some dealers do still cover under a "warranty goodwill" policy. I would call the service manager at the dealer you are going to now or the customer relations person, if they don't assist call the toyota customer service 800 number and present your complaint to them and see if they will assist, make sure you have any paperwork from the dealer on hand that will provide pertinent information. Or you can just try another dealership.
