Toyota Repair: Toyota engine gets wet and then I drive away, toyota engine, clean rag

A co. sprayed my engine with water and then I drove away but now my car is dead.  HELP!!

Most of the time this happens because water gets inside the distributor, the distributor cap should be removed and all the water cleaned out with compressed air or at least with a clean rag, the water acts as a conductor and will short the electrical current to ground.
