Toyota Repair: 1993 Toyota Camry Remote Locking, toyota camry vienta, keyless entry system

ted, i have a toyota camry vienta ultima 1993 model. the 1st remote locking key i had broke when the key got stuck in the ignition. i have since found the replacement but the key is not programmed to the car. is there any way that i can program the key myself as the dealer wants between $500 - $700 to replace the door locks to reprogram the key. P.S the key i have is not a fob, it is actually a button in the side of the ignition key itself. Many thanks in advance. jake

The keyless entry system on camrys did not have the lock/unlock button on the key until 1998 in the US, can you send me a photo of the key, it's not necessary to replace the locks, I may be able to help if I can see what the key looks like, my email address is  tedrttr@yahoo.com
