Toyota Repair: 98 toyo t100 engine, toyota t100, spark plug wire

Question
I have a 98 Toyota t100 with a 3.4 liter V6 engine. The truck all of a suddenly started to shake. The rpm is down to almost zero and the engine sounds like it about to die. Took it to a friend house and he used his check engine measuring device to find the code. It says multiple miss-fired. Change all the spark plugs and spark plug wire but still the same. Any suggestion.

Answer
A multiple misfire code almost always shows a second code, the multiple misfire is PO300, then there shouod be another one or maybe more that are specific to one or more cylinders numbered PO301-306, the least number indicates which cylinder is having the problem, there are three coil packs on the passenger side of the engine, each coil fires two cylinders, problems with the coil packs are very common so I would suggest finding out what the second codes are and replace the coil pack that is having the misfire. By the way the coil packs are on cylinders #1,3 and 5.
