Toyota Repair: alarm system 1997 Avalon, power door locks, theft deterrent system

I just bought a 1997 Toyota avalon at an auction. The factory alarm is driving me a little nuts how and where can I disconnect it. My wife would be so grateful.....lol

Disconnecting the theft deterrent system is not that simple, it's controlled by a computer that also controls the keyless entry and the power door locks, I may be able to help resolve the problem if you could tell me if there is a keyless entry remote available and just what the problem is, the solution may be much simpler than to try to disconnect it.
