-----Question-----
Hi Ted.  The other day my heater fan quit on settings 1, 2, and 3, but if I crank it to full blast it works.  What do you think is the problem?  Its a 91 toyota 4x4 pickup v6
-----Answer-----
The most common problem is that the heater blower fan resistor is burned out, it's located under the glove box, the glove box may have to be removed to get to it, it is held on with two small phillips screws, if you are going to replace it yourself get the new one from the dealer first so you know what to look for under the dash.

Answer
The resistor is available seperately and is not located anywhere near the control switch, it is also not the same as the relay, if you like you can give me an email address and I can send a picture showing the resistor location that you can show to the parts person or I can just give yo the part number tomorrow in a follow up.
