Toyota Repair: the tiny little unicorn..., toyota rav 4, crash pow

Question
Today, I heard a loud crash/pow noise coming from the back end 2 minutes after driving down the road, not just once, but twice after making left-hand turns. Later it felt as if the back end was 'floating' from side to side when reaching speeds of around 60 mph. 3 weeks ago I pulled a 2500-3000 lb. trailor on the back of the 2001 Toyota Rav-4,and wondered if that would be the reason. Because I'm a younger female, a mechanic could tell me that I have a tiny little unicorn living in my muffler causing all of the damage, and I would have no choice but to pay him.  Any information is greatly appreciated.

Answer
I would recommend that you have the toyota dealer look at this, it sounds like the rear sway bar may have broken from the weight of the trailer, it seems that the trailer weight was too much I think the limit for the rav-4 is about 1500 lbs.,trailer weight, hope this helps some.
