Toyota Repair: speedometer not working, phillips screws, instrument cluster

Question
The button to reset the trip and reset the miles driven was yanked out by my dog. It also damaged speedometer, how do u remove the cover of t he speedometer?

Answer
The instrument cluster has to be removed from the dash, there may be two phillips screws near the top of the cluster faceplate, remove it and there are four screws holding the cluster in, remove them and pull the cluster foreward so the electrical connectors can be disconnected, the clear faceplate is held on with some plastic prongs that can be pried to release it from the cluster.
