Toyota Repair: 91 toyota trunk lock, back seat, toyota

how do i get into the trunk? the key wont go in all the way, and the cable seems to be stretched. i looked under the car but cant find where the cable is,  also i cant get the back seat out.

The cable runs inside the car so looking under it you will not see it. Remove the lower half of the seat by pushing it rearward and pulling up. Once you pull that out unbolt the back half and lift it up and remove it. That should allow you access into the trunk.
