Toyota Repair: 96 Tacoma probs, clunk, drivetrain

Question
I have recently noticed a significant vibration between 45-55 mph. I checked my U-joints and found and the one connecting to the differential is loose (I have not had time to fix it); I also rotated my tires which helped with the vibration- although it is not completely gone. But now as I drive, everytime I disengage the clutch I hear a clunk when additional load is exerted on the drivetrain. It sounds like its coming from the front of the vehicle. Any ideas?

Answer
Start by changing that broken U-joint!
If it got better when you rotated your tires, did you baldspot them alittlebit? Done any big braking lately?

If that solves most of it, give the engine mounts a quick oncing over just to be sure they're not letting the engine & tranny rocking around alot.
