Toyota Repair: 1994 celica motor loses electrical power, amp fuse, blown fuse

Question
Hello,

I have a 1994 celica GT. I was driving down the road and the motor turn off, just like the key switch had been put in the off position. After stopping, I tried to recrank the car and the starter did not move. I opened the fuse box under the hood and tapped on the fusible link (90987-04002-056700-6780)( replaced with new link) , after a few tappes the car started. Later that day, I pulled all the fuses/links except the 30 amp fuse and the car stayed running. No blown fuse in the under the hood. The car has shut down multiple times, any ideas. The car has 319,000 miles- I love my car.

Answer
Replace the EFI Main relay. After checking the battery & alternator during load tests *just* to make sure. If it does it again, pull the entire fuse box apart & replace it, or re-assemble it. The wiring may have come loose. I've seen that afew times, but it's not very common.

Good luck with it. Get back with me if you have anything.
