Toyota Repair: camry prominent, toyota v6, hauss

Question
Car will not start because injectors are not pulsing.
NB. the computer is fine. engine was recently changed from a 1VZ-FE(2L) to a 3VZ-FE(3L) and the same wire lume with original sensors including distributor were reused. Could this be a ground problem, if so do know the location and colour code for wires leaving the computer. Also the gas pressure in the rail is okay and the distributor is sending current to the plugs

Answer
We don't get the "small option" Toyota v6's in North America. We only have the larger option 2vz-fe, 3vz-fe, 1mz-fe, 3mz-fe, and 2gr-fe v6's.

I will tell you that tho I've never seen the 1vz-fe, nor it's management package. (Nor hope too. Ugh horrible engines the early vz-fe, 2vz-fe & SOHC 3vz-e's are) There is simply *no way* in the world that old TCCU ECU & wiring will run that engine. All the sensors are backwards just going from a 3vz-fe back to a 2vz-fe, or 3vz-e.

Install a 3vz-fe ECU & wiring harness. The 3vz-fe is one of my pet engines. It's a hauss. You'll love it after afew tweaks.
