Toyota Repair: 89 toyota truck wiper problem, toyota 4x4 truck, intermittent wipers

I have a 1989 Toyota 4x4 truck.  My intermittent wipers and my washer fluid pump is not working.  My high and low speed on my wipers is working.  I tried a different relay (passenger kick panel) and different washer pumps and still nothing. I took a test light and had power to the pump.  I am thinking it is in the switch on the steering column.  What are your thoughts?  If this is the case is that one assembly with the light switch and all?

Yes it is probably the combination switch on the steering column that is causing this problem, they are not cheap, you may want to try to locate one used at a local salvage yard and save some money. Call the toyota parts department for a price from the dealer.
