Toyota Repair: Ignition key/lock?, toyota carina, three keys

Question
Hello, just a general question really, but as I have a Toyota...

Suddenly, after many years and for no apparent reason, I'm having difficulty in getting any one of three keys in the ignition and then having difficulty in turning it.

I've tried spraying in light grease, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

Would you know why this has happened suddenly and what I may be able to do about it.

I'm in the UK, it's a 1991 Toyota Carina ll.

Many thanks

Answer
probably a tumbler in the cylinder broke.
Change it now before it jams completely.
Take off the bezel. In the side of the housing is a hole. Put the key in ACC and push a pic into the hole, then pull the key with cyl straight out. New one goes in same way, with key in ACC
