Toyota Repair: 1992 Toyota Corolla stalls frequently, toyota corolla, intake hose

Question
My Toyota needs to be warmed up for 15 minutes, regardless of how cold it is outside.  If it is not warmed sufficiently, it will stall repeatedly when you put it in drive.  When the weather is colder, it will also stall out when stopped at traffic lights or when I brake to make a sharp turn.  I have a very good mechanic who has replaced the starter, the distributor cap and spark plugs and the ignition coil.  He checked the air bellows and says there are no cracks or problems with air mixing.  Other than this problem, the car runs well. Although it is old, it has less than 100K miles on it.  I would like to resolve the problem rather than getting rid of the car.  Thanks for your thoughts.

Answer
tap the throttle body LIGHTLY when you start it. If the idle comes up, you have a stuck IAC vale.
(Idle Air Control)
It is bolted to the bottom of the throttle body.
You can tak the intake hose off and spray some carb cleaner in the hole at the bottom just indide the intake runner to try and free it up. Most likely will need replacement.
