Toyota Repair: 1997 toyota avalon abs and trac off light, toyota avalon, scantool

I have a 1997 Toyota Avalon with 123,000 miles. Periodically, the ABS and TRAC OFF lights will come on. The brakes have been replaced about 2 years ago. Do you know what could be causing this?

Yes I will know what could be the cause as soon as I know what the diagnostic trouble codes are in the computer.
Have the toyota dealer connect the diagnostic scantool to retreive the codes and then get back to me, without knowing those I'm as clueless as you are.
